I've been trying lately, somewhat unsuccessfully, to create a few mixes for friends of mine. It occurred to me that the last time I was truly inspired to create compilations was when Mr. Cannes and I were first dating. I guess there's just something about the First Blush of Love that lights your fires and makes this sort of thing easy. So I asked the Mister if he could dig up some of those old comps, and Lo, he is a proper pack rat and could.
